This apartment in midtown Manhattan was inherited by my client, who wished to update the space to his family’s current aesthetic, while keeping a nod to its history. We kept classic touches (colors, some furnishings) while weaving in modern elements with the artwork, updated window treatments, and a few mid century furnishings. The narrow galley kitchen had a full refresh to lighten up what was a fairly dark space.
