Our client’s desire to live-in-place in her beloved Upper West Side apartment was a two-fold project. First, decluttering from over four decades of living in the space, which was necessary for the next stage of life. She enjoyed reliving memories through various cherished items while passing some on to various family members. The next stage involved a full refresh of the space, including new flooring in some areas, updated lighting (as our eyes require more lamination in our later years), and new furnishings throughout. Some items that had been “under cover” for years were revealed, much to our client’s delight. This was a truly rewarding project and we know our client is still enjoying her refreshed space, now into her fifth decade in the apartment.
